The city of Regina has come a long way since the first settlers arrived in 1882.
From the hip 1960's through to the new millennium, the city has experienced the first Buffalo Days, celebrated the opening of Centre of the Arts, proudly hosted guests for the first Canadian Western Agribition and welcomed Royalty.
Today Regina is an oasis of buildings, trees, people and activity in the middle of the rolling prairies.

Amongst these parks is Wascana Centre , one of the largest urban parks in North America, covering 2,300 acres of land, 300 of which are water. Jog, bike and stroll through this beautifully landscaped park located in the heart of Regina.
Regina is the sunniest capital city in Canada making outdoor activities extremely popular.
In the summer, paddle, row and windsurf on Wascana Lake.
In the winter months spend the day tobogganing, skating or cross country skiing.
